Gold Plating is done on Quartz tube over 180 degree C. These heaters reflect the radiant energy through the opening as much as 200/0 compared to without gold plate heated. Energy cost savings are realized. Reflectors are often not needed. Surrounding work area temperatures are cooler. For higher temperature we can offer the heaters with white ceramic coating on one side.




The twin tube Quartz IR emitters are available in dimensions of IL mm x 23mm & 15mm x 33mm & lengths up to 2000mm & 3000mm respectively.

Abtech offers Medium Wave Quartz infrared heaters which are the efficient sources of radiant energy. These heaters have heat up time of 50 seconds and cool down time of less that 15 seconds. The heaters are designed to offer excellent life characteristics even if operated. Continuously or intermittently with a quick heat & cool down response time. We can manufacture the quartz heater with 40 watts per square inch.



Quartz Heaters consist of a hectically wound resistance coil housed in a pure vitreous silica fused quartz tube. The Quartz tubing is terminated with specially designed ceramic insulating caps which are securely fastened to the quartz tube with high temperature cement providing excellent support to the power connecting termination..



Quartz Heaters are designed to be used in a horizontal position only. Quartz Heaters are available in various diameters like 8,10,12,15, 19 mm & lengths from 300 to 1500mm.



The heaters are designed to provide a clear red color on the silica quartz tube when operated at full voltage. The wave length is 2.5 to 3.0 microns at the energy peak. These elements do not give Off any objectionable glare due to very low emission in the visible spectrum.

 Abtech Heaters offers Mica Strip Heater which is an economical & reliable source of heat for Industrial equipment. The 0.4mm thick mica insulator on both sides of the resistance element provides complete electrical insulation & offer very little resistance to efficient heat flow.

The Nickel- Chrome resistance on wire size is designed to the even heat distribution for maximum heater life. The mica insulator is used to insulate the winding, providing excellent thermal conductivity and strength.

Installation Instruction :

1. Mica Strip Heaters are available with mounting slots at end for surface mounting application or without slots for inserting into the milled slots.
2. The heaters should be clamped firmly along the entire length to a smooth metal surface by using metal clamps.
3. The area for heating must be clean & smooth for efficient heat transfer. No air gaps should b there which may cause hot spot, resulting in failure.
4. Contaminants such as oil, plastics & dirt should not be allowed to collect on heaters as they will find way into the winding's & cause electrical shorts.

 Ceramic Strip heater is made of Nickel Chrome Resistance wire helical wound coil, which is placed in the heater. The coil is precisely strung through the ceramic insulator & then is mechanically connected to the screw terminals or lead wires as required. The outer body is made of SS304 Stainless Steel Shealth which provides physical strength and resistance to high temperature up to 600°C. The resistance wire coil is housed in specially designed ceramic insulator. The Ceramic Strip Heaters are available with or without mounting holes.

These heaters are also available with fins for air heating applications. The fins have been specially designed to provide maximum surface contact for good heat dissipation thus resulting in rapid heat transfer to the air.

These are most versatile of all electric heating elements capable of being formed into virtually any configurations.

 

The coil is made up of helically wound coil of Nickel Chrome wire which is housed in a tube of SS 304 Shealth.
The space between the coil & tube is filled with specifically selected grain size of high purity Magnesium Oxide (MgO).
This increases thermal conductivity, dielectric strength & heater life. The filled tube is then evenly compressed in swaging machine such that the diameter of the tube gets reduced. This holds the coil firmly in the centre of the tube.
The terminals are SS screw type. Each end of the coil is welded to the screw’s inner end which remains covered in the tube and the other end of the screw protrudes outside the tube which is to be connected to the power supply.

Tubular heater with in all 800 material is used when air is to be heated.
The maximum watt density of 6 watts/Sq. cm is obtained. This heater is used when indirect heating is to be done.
Tubular Heaters are available in wide variety of shapes, diameter and ratings. They can also be made as per customer’s requirement.
They can also provided with SS or MS fins for rapid heating.
